Cordaid
Cordaid was the result of a merger between Memisa, Mensen in Nood and Bilance/Vastenaktie, 3 Dutch NGOs, in 1999 and is now one of the six Dutch co-financing organizations (responsible for spending 10% of the budget of the Dutch Ministry for Development Cooperation).

Working on long-term development and emergency aid, and focusing in particular on healthcare, food security and vulnerable groups, they support over 2000 programs in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Cordaid has a special interest in PRSPs within the context of the development of a New Aid Architecture. For this reason Cordaid also supports activities in the field of capacity building, networking and monitoring, focusing on the delivery of aid and strengthening of local communities. Amongst others Cordaid is engaged in research and lobby activities in the field of PRSP monitoring and donor harmonization.
