The Development Research Center (DRC) is a private non-governmental development organisation whose mission and objectives are to stimulate research and raise awareness about developing countries and their role in the world of economy and politics.
Its main topics of research are : poverty reduction, environmental protection, refugees and displaced population, fair trade, occupational and labour safety, debt issues, minorities, trade, political and cultural relations of Bulgaria with developing countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The DRC publishes a quarterly bulletin on the above stated issues and every year organises an event (seminar, conference, round table).
The target audience is the local NGO sector, students, small and medium size businesses, and local government.
