Is the global financial and economic system fit to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are ambitious objectives: business as usual will not deliver them. To meet this challenge, we will have radically to reshape national, regional and global economies. But if developing countries are to chart their own paths to prosperity, we must also rethink the way we govern and manage the global financial and economic system. A review of the current state of financing for development shows the nature of the challenge.
